England 2023 - Here She Goes Again!

Off I go to England again! Tomorrow is the day.

This year I'm headed to York, Bakewell, Cambridge, and London. The little red pin points on the map below give you an idea of where I'll be.

I visited York in 2010 on a quick day trip. It's got a beautiful cathedral that I need to spend more time in. It's a gorgeous medieval city, so I'm excited to explore it more.

Then I'm off to Bakewell, a small village in the Peak District. There are a few stately homes nearby and it's on the edge of some good countryside walking. I'm only there for two days, so we'll see how much I can accomplish!

Back to Cambridge again -- my favorite. It's already been five years since I visited (how is that possible?!) and it's time to go again. I will have a few days with a wide open schedule and then I am participating in a series of lectures at the University of Cambridge over the course of two and a half days.

Then to London to round out the trip like I usually do!

Lots of adventures planned! Stay tuned; I will write when I get back so that I can fully enjoy my time while I'm there.
