More Exploration of Brighton

Tuesday, May 24

My hoping and wishing for a nice day for day #2 in England kiiinda worked. Tuesday started off rainy again, but cleared up later on.

My plan had been to do a lot of hiking, so I had switch it up. I decided just to stay in Brighton and explore it a bit more.

First, I decided to have breakfast. I went to a place called Love Fit Café and had a lovely flat white and "breakfast roll."

The bun on this breakfast roll looks intense, but it was super soft and delicious!

I went to the Brighton Museum after brek. It was nicely done and I enjoyed my time there. Here are some expertly curated photos from things I saw in the museum.

The weather had cleared by now, so I decided to walk around in search of some of the cute things I knew existed in Brighton.

Brighton is kind of known for street art.

Brighton is so colorful, as you can see!

I walked around The Lanes more, popping in and out of shops, and thought it was time to take a break when a downpour occurred. It was past lunch time anyway! I decided to go into Bill's Brighton, which is kind of an upscale chain of restaurants in the UK. I had a chicken sandwich and chips (fries) and I guess the lunch special came with dessert, so I got the mini cinnamon donuts.

I realized the library was nearby and I had some time to kill. I had decided to go see the newest Fantastic Beasts movie since the weather still wasn't great. The library was bustling and I enjoyed my time there. The film was really good too!

I ended up not eating dinner because I was still full from the late lunch, but I did go into the Sussex Arms to have a half pint of Icebreaker pale ale and put together my daily Instagram/Facebook post.

It was nearing twilight and I wanted to get some external photos of the Royal Pavilion, so I headed back over there and I am glad I did!

I walked 4.6 miles this day!
